What Are Anodized Fasteners and What Are They Used For?
Fasteners can be constructed in many ways. One such way in which these fasteners can be fashioned is with an anodized coating. Anodized fasteners, such as anodized screws, bolts, nuts, washers and more, are similar to other types of fasteners except that their coating is of the specialty variety. These anodized fasteners are often more resistant to corrosion and abrasion than their non-anodized counterparts. Anodized fasteners, whether they are anodized screws, anodized bolts, anodized nuts or anodized washers, can be used for pretty much the same things which other non-anodized fasteners are used for. However, the added nicety of non-corrosion and non-abrasion attributes make this type of fastener that much more enticing to those who need fasteners for their various home improvement projects and other endeavors.
